The future sure is exciting. And mostly because I am in charge of it.
Things are not ‘happening’ to me. They are a reaction to the actions I am taking. Of course the result is always unknown. I must say that things would be much easier if I sometimes just know what the outcome will be. But hey, this is not how life works.
So what is left for me is to set my goal, and start doing all the actions that will bring me in the wanted direction. And if the result is not as I expected, it’s not a failure, it’s just a different outcome, which I can either use, or correct through my actions.
It actually makes the future more exciting. I’m setting goals, going for it, know that I am running in the right direction, and still the exact outcome is a surprise. The only difference from ‘things happening’ is that I always have a choice wether this is the result I’m satisfied with or am I going for more!
